UNLABELED SESSIONS is a photography concept that allows women to show their true selves and build representation of the beautiful variety of women's personalities, bodies, and expressions.
Since I started photographing women, my main focus has been to make them feel special, while also challenging them to open up and allow themselves to be vulnerable in front of my camera, enabling me to capture their personalities.
Within this concept, we challenge societal norms together—how women are placed into certain categories and labeled regarding how they’re supposed to be, act, and look. This adds enormous pressure on our shoulders to fulfill ideals that don’t serve us.
Growing up as a girl in a medium-sized German town, I never felt like I fit the label of "feminine," or at least what society tells us femininity means. Later, I felt a deep desire to fight these concepts and create my own reality, choosing to view those descriptions more as an individual spectrum than as clear definitions—to unlabel myself.
That’s why I believe every single one of us needs liberation in order to become the person we feel we truly are.
That's where I and the concept of the Unlabeled Sessions come into the picture. It's more than a regular photo shoot; it’s an intimate experience, a journey to your core, celebrating you as the individual human being that you are. Find beauty within yourself—in your strengths, your flaws, your story, your vulnerability, your uniqueness, and your weirdness. Allow yourself to be vulnerable, and I’ll grant you a powerful feeling of liberation and confidence.

NOT YOUR USUAL PHOTO SHOOT
Your UNLABELED SESSION will take place in two separate parts. The main difference from a regular photo shoot is the INTERVIEW, which we'll have prior to the photo shoot (about a week or two before).
The UNLABELED SESSION Interview Catalogue has been curated to help me paint a picture of your personality, your needs, your fears, and your relationship with your body. Based on your answers, I will select individual questions to gain a broad understanding and put YOU into focus.
This process will also help YOU figure out and reflect on what you want and need—the labels you want to shed and the traits you want to celebrate.
Using the insights you provide during the interview, I will create an individual concept for the set design, lighting, and other aspects of our session.
On the day of the shoot, we’ll have another talk to warm up and reflect on the interview together. We’ll choose the final outfits, enjoy a coffee or two (or tea, or lemonade :) ), and just have a good time.
